WELCOME TO THE MEN’s FELLOWSHIP
THE VISION
LEADERSHIP
Denzil and Peter accepted the role of leading the ‘Men’s Fellowship’ with the vision of bringing EBBC men together. One year Later and the Men’s Fellowship has begun to grow. Denzil has moved on and Peter has now been joined by Isaac to continue the vision for the men at EBBC.
The vision is that the men of EBBC can spend time together, supporting each other, fellowshipping together and having some fun together.
A simple concept – like going to the pub!
MEETING TOGETHER
Our first meeting together brought all three of these elements together. Six men began that journey with a scrumptious meal in Wood Green (eat as much as you like). It was fun. Since then the men have got together for various activities on a regular basis and continue to grow as we explore new activities and spend good quality time together.
SUPPORTING THE CHURCH
The men’s fellowship has also undertaken a small but vital role in support of the church ministry on Sundays by helping with the refreshments on a regular basis.
It’s all part of the new normal!
FUTURE MEETINGS
The next activity planned for the Men’s Fellowship is on Saturday the 24th Febuary 2024 from 6pm.
This will take place at EBBC and involves food, cooking, pingpong and more food!!
FISHING
It had to happen! Men getting together for a spot of Fishing – Hopefully landing more than just fish
MEETING IN THE PUB
A classic venue for a relaxing time of fellowship and fun
BARBECUE
You can’t get men together without at least having a barbecue – this is a planned church barbecue when the men will do all the cooking!
Golf
Of course men love to play golf – this is an awesome way to bring men together to enjoy good food and a couple of rounds of professional golfing!
Bowling
This is an evening of competitive minds, an opportunity for all men to participate regardless of age or skillset. The winner buys the food!
NightShelter Cooking
They say men are the best chefs – well the men at EBBC have many culinary skills and the proof of the pudding is in the eating
